WWDC 2024 event is fast approaching as Apple has announced its official dates and time. So, here is a list of everything Apple can announce at the keynote in June.
WWDC or Worldwide Developer Conference is Apple’s annual event where the Tech giant reveals all its major software releases right from Apple Park in California. 2024’s keynote marks the 35th iteration of the company’s annual event and it will have some major reveals this time around.
While speculations are spread wide all over the internet, we have listed down some announcements Apple can make at WWDC 2024. Before we jump into the details, let’s take a look at the official schedule of the event.

The WWDC 2024 will take place from June 10 to June 14 at 10 am PT, as confirmed by Apple.

- Apple Keynote at 10 am PT
- Platforms State of the Union at 1 pm PT
The part of the event at 10 am will give a first look at all the updates coming to Apple platforms later this year.
Platforms State of the Union at 1 pm PT will delve into the newest advancements of every operating system like iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS.

WWDC 2024: Everything Apple might announce
1. iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS 15
iOS 18 is the biggest update that everybody is waiting to get a glimpse of at WWDC 2024. Rumors say that Apple will finally implement a ton of features of AI. However, nothing can be said about design overhauls as Apple has been following a similar layout for some years now.
Shortly after the event is over, Apple will allow developers to download and test iOS 18 Beta. A public beta will also be available a few days after the developer beta.
Apple can also announce the new iPadOS 18 at the event, considering the new OLED iPad Pro and iPad Air 6 were revealed at the Let Loose Event on May 7.
macOS 15 will also feature some major changes for the MacBook lineups. In October 2023, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that Apple is planning to bring Generative AI to every device. While it may not be as big as iOS 18, macOS15 could still feature those AI features that’d be very useful in everyday life.
2. watchOS 11 and visionOS 2 for wearables
watchOS 11 and visionOS 2 are two updates Apple can announce at the event in June. The yearly update to the Apple Watches is due and with the Vision Pro launched in 2023, a new OS update to the wearable can be revealed at WWDC this year.
We can get to see improvements like app folders, a customizable Home screen, and a Notification Center with visionOS 2.
3. tvOS 18 for Apple TV
tvOS 18 is another update we can see Apple announce at WWDC 2024. Although it’s not as major as iOS 18 or iPadOS 18, it’s still the operating system that Apple TV runs on.
