Another year, and a brand new iPhone lineup from the tech giant Apple has been launched. We see subtle improvements with the release of every lineup and it was no different this year.
We got to see some massive camera improvements for the base lineup finally and the implementation of the Dynamic Island on the non-Pro models too. Also, we are also getting USB-C support for all models, finally!

iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus release date
The new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus was released on September 12, 2023. Tim Cook announced the new series at the Apple Event that everybody around the world was waiting for.
The Apple Event was aired at 10 am PT / 6 PM BST / 10:30 pm IST. You can now check the VOD straight from Apple’s official YouTube channel.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus price
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are priced at $799 and $899, respectively. The prices are for the 128 GB models.
In 2022, Apple set the price of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models at $799 and $899 too. This means the price remains unchanged despite the significant changes we got to see at the Apple Event 2023.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus storage options
Like all recent models, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus comes with:
- 128GB
- 256GB, and
- 512GB storage options.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models rock Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and Yellow colors.
Although the non-Pro models come in different colors, I am not a huge fan of them as they lack brightness and vibrance. The colors this time have a softer tone instead.
Will iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus have A17 bionic chips?
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models come equipped with A16 bionic chips. This is the same chip that the iPhone 14 Pro models came with in 2022.
Like last year, Apple has reserved the new A17 Pro chips for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models only.
