How to check Battery Cycle Count in iPhone 15 Pro Max after iOS 17.4.1 update

The way to check the Battery Cycle Count of your iPhone 15 Pro Max or non-pro models has changed and here’s how you can do it.

At the time of writing, iOS 17.4.1 is the latest software update that Apple has provided for all iPhone 15 users and has changed how a couple of things used to work. The Battery Cycle Count is one of those instances.

Prior to this update, you could check the iPhone 15 Battery Cycle Count from the General Settings, but that way has become much more streamlined and straightforward with the release of the iOS 17.4.1 update.

So, here’s how you can check the Battery Cycle Count in your iPhone 15 Pro Max.

How to check Battery Cycle Count in iOS 17.4.1 (all iPhone 15 models)

To check the Battery Cycle Count after iOS 17.4.1 update, simply:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Scroll down a bit and tap on Battery.
  3. Tap on Battery Health.
  4. Look for the Cycle Count, which should be between Maximum Capacity and Manufacture Date.

You can easily check the Battery Cycle Count along with your phone’s entire Battery health from here.

I really appreciate this change from Apple as it keeps everything related to the Battery in one place. Before the 17.4.1 update dropped, you had to check the Battery Cycle Count from the General Settings.
